It was with much sadness we farewelled our son, Trey, last Friday as he headed back to College in the US (Kansas). It was wonderful to have him and his girlfriend, Erica, home for a few weeks.
One term to go before he graduates. We’re planning to go over and help him celebrate.
I trust you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
Most of the people I speak with say “I’m glad 2022 is over. Bring on 2023”. When asked “Why?” they say a lot of negative things happened.
For me, 2022 was a great year. Last January I wrote down 4 things I would like to achieve and have achieved three of them.
Here’s the deal.
If you are not going some-where, you are going no-where.
You become a rudderless boat going wherever the tide takes you.
Now that may excite you. If it does, great. Keep doing it.
If it doesn’t, it’s time to stick the rudder back in and put you in the driver’s seat. It’s time to steer this vessel where you would like it to go.
First step, decide on your destination.
Write it down. This makes it ten times plus more powerful.
Pick two or three things you would like to achieve.
This is like going on holidays. You have a starting point (home) and an end point (your holiday destination).
Everything you do works on this principle.
From having a shower to going to work.
Decide on what you would like to achieve.
The way to get there will become clear.
You’ve got this.
Keep it simple my friend.
